Expecting parents have probably thought of the many fun hobbies they’ll be able to share with their child one day. Maybe it’s a favorite sport, a love of Disney movies, or baking brownies with the perfect ratio of crunchy crust to gooey insides.
With that in mind, it’s not much of a shock that EGOT winner John Legend would want to share his love of music with his kids. Recently, his wife Chrissy Teigen caught him playing the piano with their son and gifted all of us with the duet we never knew we needed.

John and Chrissy have two kids, Luna and Miles, and Chrissy often shares the children’s shenanigans with her followers on social media. No one can get enough of the adorable little ones (or their hilariously down-to-earth mom).
Though Chrissy calls herself a “de-motivational speaker,” she often inspires others with her strength and humor in the face of the many challenges that come with parenting.

Of course, a very real part of motherhood is cherishing the little moments of joy kids bring to the table. So when Chrissy caught John and Miles at the piano together, she didn’t hesitate to capture the sweet interaction on video.

In it, we see John playing “My Favorite Things” from “The Sound of Music” as Miles sits next to him and playfully throws in some high notes. Miles’ additions are surprisingly on beat, so don’t be shocked if he follows in his dad’s footsteps!
The video is mesmerizing for so many reasons. The moment John starts singing the iconic song, we get goosebumps from his rich voice. And, of course, Miles’ face as he looks up at his dad and plays along is pure gold because the love between them is so apparent.
