Jon Bon Jovi serenaded a female fan on stage in a romantic moment at a Bon Jovi show in São Paulo. The frontman, of course, did it to the tune of the band’s ballad “Bed of Roses”—what  else? The performance began with the crowd at the Allianz Parque stadium singing along to every word of the hit, then the female fan somehow got onstage just as the band hit the first chorus.

The fan, who was a beautiful young woman in a Bon Jovi crop top, went up to embrace the singer, and the pair hugged and then even kissed on the lips! I’m not sure what Bon Jovi’s wife would have to say about that, but the audience loved it as a huge cheer went up. The frontman then took her hand and sang the chorus while looking into her eyes, and the woman, clearly a superfan, was just eating it up. You can see the performance below, which has gained 11 million views on YouTube.

The pair hugged again several times as Bon Jovi continued to serenade her. When it came time for the guitar solo, Bon Jovi led the fans in a slow dance at the front of the stage. At the end of the solo, she rejoined the crowd, but not before giving Bon Jovi one last kiss, this time on the cheek. Normally fans who make it onstage at a stadium show are quickly frogmarched off by security, but this lucky lady managed to spend more than three minutes onstage dancing with her hero.

Bon Jovi has made a bit of a habit of dancing on stage with fans, although it’s not always a slow dance. One memorable stage invasion was when the singer’s daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, appeared onstage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in 2017. Stephanie, who was 23 years old at the time, ran on from behind the stage during “I Got The Girl” for a boogie with her dad, with the pair clearly having loads of fun. Check it out yourself below.

Bon Jovi fans really appreciated the São Paulo serenade, adding admiring comments such as “One of the most beautiful love songs ever written by Bon Jovi. She will remember this moment for the rest of her life. The crowd in Latin America is amassing so much love and respect for the artists from all over the world.”

“Bed of Roses” is a common fixture on Bon Jovi setlists, as the band has played it live more than 500 times since its release. The Bob Rock-produced power ballad was included on the band’s fifth studio album, Keep the Faith, in 1992, and the following year it was released as the second single from the album. The single was a top-10 hit in the US and showcased the band’s move into a more mature sound following their hard rock hits in the ‘80s.
