Stepping onto the stage with the help of his mother, his condition was apparent immediately. However, the moment he sat down to begin playing, he completely transformed.

“We found out that he loved music really early on. He listened, and his eyes just went huge!” explained his Mother. “He started singing, and that’s when I was just in tears because that’s when I realised he’s an entertainer.”

“Through performing, he was able to withstand living in this world, because when you’re autistic it’s really hard to do what everybody else does. It actually has saved his life, playing music.”

Kodi’s performance captured the judges’ hearts so much that they gave him the coveted ‘golden buzzer’, meaning he nows advances straight through to the live finals of the talent show.
