Australian father-daughter duo, Caitlin and Tim Rizzoli, showcased their powerhouse vocals on The Voice, bringing coach Rita Ora to tears with their rendition of “Say Something” by A Great Big World. Rita emotionally reacted as they fine-tuned their vocals for the song, highlighting their beautiful connection.

Tim’s bold voice and Caitlin’s smooth tones complemented each other perfectly. After perfecting “Say Something,” Rita had to compose herself and expressed, “that was amazing. I had goosebumps. It’s just so nice to see.” Rita revealed that her strong reaction was due to missing her father, stating, “I haven’t been home for a while, and it really made me feel like my dad was right there.”

Rita also conveyed to Caitlin and Tim, “it’s so nice to have this memory. You guys are going to be able to watch this forever. This is going to be an amazing, epic dad and daughter duet.” The Melbourne duo’s initial audition with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” also impressed the judges.

Tim, aged 52 at the time, flawlessly delivered the opening verse with his classic country-style vocals, while Caitlin, aged 23, brought a dramatic pop and R&B vibe. By the time they sang the duet for the chorus, all four judges turned their chairs, and the energy in the room was electric, signaling something special was happening.

Caitlin and Tim dominated The Voice Generations competition last year, winning the entire competition. Judge Guy Sebastian recognized their immense talent during the audition, stating, “It’s pretty special what we just witnessed. You guys are at the level where you could win this. It’s gonna be a very lucky coach who gets you.” To see more from Caitlin Rizzoli, you can subscribe to her YouTube channel.
