An immensely talented vocalist, Peter Hollens, teamed up with his young son for a stunning and inspiring father-son duet to Journey’s beloved hit ‘Don’t Stop Believin’.

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley and many other legendary acts have classic songs that are instantly recognizable, often within the first few notes. But as great and iconic as “Satisfaction” and “Here Comes the Sun” might be, there is one song that is likely more timeless than both of those: Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin.’”

Journey’s hit from the 1980s is still heard everywhere – on the radio, in television shows, in commercials and in films. It’s a track everyone is more than familiar with and likely knows most of the song’s lyrics. In a clip posted on YouTube, Peter Hollens and his son perform the classic tune together.

Peter and his son deliver a lovely and enjoyable version of the classic song. Not only do they sing the song together, but it’s an a cappella version, with the talented father-son duo providing all the sound themselves.

“Don’t stop believin’
Hold on to that feelin’
Streetlights, people”

Peter’s talent did not stop with him. His son, while young and not as experienced with music as his father, still has a wealth of musical talent. The young man sounds awesome as he belts the iconic and memorable lyrics about not giving up and continuing to fight despite the odds.

In addition to sounding terrific, recording their cover of the Journey tune appears to have been an awesome bonding opportunity for the father and son. Both Peter and his son have massive smiles on their faces throughout the entirety of the short clip. They clearly enjoyed each other’s company while singing arguably one of the best and most memorable songs ever written.
