“He’s completely blind in one eye and has limited vision in the other,” Moore explained.

“He’s significantly visually impaired. He navigates with a cane and reads braille.”

Moore hopes that Avett’s videos will inspire kindness, acceptance, and understanding towards those with special needs.

She has even authored a book titled “Cotton Candy Clouds” to raise awareness and support for the blind or visually impaired.

“He’s the protagonist in the book,” Moore elaborated.

“Essentially, he couldn’t see the clouds in the sky, so I wrote this book so he could ‘see’ them.”

The book serves as a platform to discuss diversity and the uniqueness of every individual, highlighting that we are all born with our own gifts.

“I aim to educate people on how to interact with the blind and visually impaired,” Moore added.

Despite progress, Moore acknowledges that resources for the blind and visually impaired remain somewhat limited.

“If every company prioritized inclusion, it would make a world of difference for so many Americans,” she expressed.
