The Voice Kids contestant Victoria Alsina has become one of the youngest ever finalists at the age of seven after wowing the coaches.
The contestant turned in a flawless performance of Mariah Carey’s Hero for the semi-final, which blew away coaches will.i.am, Danny Jones, Paloma Faith and Pixie Lott.
A member of team Will, she fought off stiff competition from Savannah Sunique and Amos Thakid before being told she was victorious.
Special shout out to Amos, by the way, for his epic self-penned track No Violence.
Also through to the final, airing next Saturday, is George Elliott. A member of Danny Jones of McFly fame’s team, he performed a powerful take on Queen’s Radio Gaga.
Paloma Faith’s choice of finalist was Dara McNicholl, who did a sublime rendition of Nothing Compares 2U – written by Prince and popularised by Sinead O’Connor.
Finally, Pixie Lott took Justine Afante through, after she closed the show with a blockbuster performance of Whitney Houston’s One Moment In Time.
