Just six months after he was given a keyboard, fifth grader Traevon Narcisse has gone viral with his incredible piano-playing skills.
A video of the Fifth Ward boy playing the keyboard outside, surrounded by other children, has nearly 4 million views.
“I’m surprised because I never knew this day would come. I knew it would come but not as early,” he said in an interview with KHOU 11.
Traevon taught himself how to play and credits his church for helping him learn so quickly.
He also told the TV station he wants to become a professional musician, tour the world and meet singer Chris Brown.
Traeyvon is one of 36 boys and young men participating in the Chauncy Glover Project, a yearlong mentoring and college preparatory program founded ABC 13 anchor Chauncy Glover.
