Tiago Andree Mexican/Uruguayan Guitarist

Andree is an exceptionally talented guitarist, composer, arranger and producer. The half Mexican half Uruguayan performs technically difficult guitar and bass performances and uploads them to his social media accounts.

In the video below, Tiago plays a very unique cover of George Michael’s Careless Whisper using an unusual guitar/bass hybrid. The guitar and bass share the same body as their strings face in opposite directions. You’d think this guitar would be impossible to play, but not if you’re Andree. The guitar was sent to him by a manufacturer called “Busuyi Guitar” who produce this unique two sided instrument.

At 14 years old Andree started learning how to play guitar classically. He took his passion to a professional standard very quickly. He is currently living in Mexico City and is widely considered to be the best young bass guitarist in Mexico.

However, his talents aren’t just unique to the bass guitar. He also loves to “shred” a guitar, uploading many videos of himself playing fast and furious guitar solos using his electric guitar.

He can be seen taking on bass guitar challenges from well known musicians in the bass guitar sector such as Davie504 and Charles Berthoud. The nimble fingered youngster has shown he can mix it up with some of the biggest, and most talented players in the industry.

His incredible talents have been noticed in Mexico as he was awarded multiple national awards in classical guitar at the Paracho, Mexico competition, among other prestigious national competitions. He released his first album in 2019 titled “1719” and he continues to create new music promising his fans he will keep pushing the boundaries of his talents.

His talents have also been recognised by the best handcrafting guitar makers in Mexico called “Colibri Guitars & Basses Mexico” who have sponsored Andree. These sort of partnerships helps him push his career forward utilising unique instruments – such as the bass guitar in the first video on this page sent to him by his friends at “Busuyi Guitar”.
