Step into the vibrant world of the Angel City Chorale, a beacon of musical talent nestled in the heart of Los Angeles. Founded by the visionary Sue Fink, who also helms the group as its artistic director, this choir has been harmonizing the essence of LA for over 27 years.

Since their debut CD in 1999, the Angel City Chorale has soared, embodying LA’s spirit and diversity with a mission to “Build Community One Song at a Time.” Their rendition of Toto’s “Africa” in the video below is nothing short of spectacular, merging unique sounds and melodies into a mesmerizing musical journey.

The global pandemic posed significant challenges for musicians worldwide, choirs included. Therefore, Fink felt a special need to boost everyone’s mentality and motivation in these hard times,

“As a choir, we exist to bring people together, to elevate the human spirit, and celebrate our unity of spirit and diversity of expression. We may be separated by walls and distance, but not by heart – not from each other or from the beauty and diversity of the city we represent. We firmly believe that we will make it through this crisis, that we will come together again, sing together again, and fly again,” said the project founder.

Angel City Chorale’s strength lies in its diversity, with over 180 voices blending classical, gospel, jazz, pop, and world music into a harmonious tapestry. Witness their powerful performance of “Baba Yetu” by Christopher Tin, a shining example of their collective talent right here:

The choir’s talent was showcased on America’s Got Talent in 2018, captivating even Simon Cowell himself, who praised them as one of the best choirs to grace the show. Since opening their YouTube channel in March 2008, their channel has amassed over 28 million views collectively, a testament to their universal appeal.
