8 year old British violinist, Leia Zhu performing the 2nd and 3rd movements from Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto – in the Final of the 2015 International Russian Rotary Music Competition, in Moscow.

A student of Itzhak Rashkovsky, Leia was awarded 1st prize.

British violinist Leia Zhu, aged 8, has been named the youngest ever winner of the International Competition ‘Young Virtuosos’ in Sophia, Bulgaria. The competition’s 2015 edition included violin, viola, cello and percussion categories, each divided into four age groups.
