Every year, singers show up on “The Voice” with a talent and a dream, hoping to make a name for themself.

Alex Jeans, competitor on “The Voice Australia” has done just that.

In the Callback round of “The Voice,” Alex took the stage to perform one of the most iconic rock hits in the world: “Dream On” by Aerosmith.

This 1973 hit is no easy feat to perform. The storytelling skills required to do this song justice are through the roof, and then, at the end, there’s a massive octave jump few performers could even attempt.

Alex took the challenge head-on. The audience and judges were on the edge of their seats from the first word, with anxious anticipation of the high notes coming.

Alex put all their fears to rest. His rendition of “Dream On” crushed it. Dream on, Alex!
