He’s one of the most famous stars in the world of music.

And, Ed Sheeran, 31, handled an on-stage blunder with ease as he accidentally began performing with the wrong guitar during Concert For Ukraine, held at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham on Tuesday night.

The talented singer began playing the catchy intro to his hit single Bad Habits, but after plucking away for a short time, put his foot on the pedal and told fans: ‘I’ve picked the wrong guitar!’

Ed swiftly unburdened himself of the guitar, taking the strap off and placing the musical instrument behind a display of huge sunflowers.

Picking up the correct guitar, he returned to the microphone where he quipped: quipping ‘Live television, eh?’ with a grin.

Ed then jeered up the crowd by tapping the body of the guitar, encouraging fans to clap along – which they most certainly did.

The superstar then began performing Bad Habits with the same enthusiasm on his second go, much to the delight of those watching.

Ever the showman, Ed performed two songs, his recent song Bad Habits and hit track Bad Habits, earning a thunderous reception from the fans in attendance.

‘Thank you so much for coming for such an important cause,’ he told the crowd while on stage.

Soon after Camila Cabello performed her own version of Coldplay’s hit track Fix You, stunning in an electric blue suit with a matching metallic bralet, leaving many viewers in tears with the emotional song.

She told the crowd: ‘We’re all praying tonight for the peace and safety of the people of Ukraine. Thank you so much for being part of this super important fundraiser and please donate anything you can.’

The Havana hitmaker then revealed that she and Ed would be performing their new song Bam Bam together for the first time, and got much of the crowd out of their seats with the energetic song.

ITV first announced their star-studded Concert For Ukraine earlier this month to help the millions of people who are being forced to leave Ukraine and flee to other countries.

The live televised concert took place on Tuesday, and brought together some of the biggest names in the music industry to raise money for the humanitarian appeal in the war-torn country.

Donations will go directly to The DEC, which is helping the millions of people who are being forced to leave their lives in Ukraine.

ITV is also donating all advertising revenue from the broadcast – an estimated £3 million – to the DEC appeal.
