Ed Sheeran Says Billie Eilish Beat Him Out For James Bond Theme Song

 Ed Sheeran even started composing the James Bond theme song before being told to “lose his job”.

Ed Sheeran revealed for the first time that he lost the contract to compose the theme song for the famous James Bond movie No Time To Die in 2021. After Ed Sheeran, the producer decided to choose Billie Eilish to become the wrote music for this movie. When revealing this, the male singer admitted he was very disappointed.

Specifically, the male singer said that the original director of the film, Danny Boyle, approached him for this music contract. However, Cary Joji Fukunaga was later chosen as the official director. This is also the time when Ed Sheeran “lost his job”.

“They changed the director, they changed the script and it was over,” Ed Sheeran shared on That Peter Crouch show, “We had all the meetings, I even started writing songs for movie”.

“I won’t pretend that this doesn’t hurt me. But if they invite me again, I will definitely accept,” the Shape of you singer added.
