FINGERS Mitchell Cullen
Mitchell Cullen is an Australian singer-songwriter with bags of natural talent. He has played multiple international festivals from Hungary to India and is fast becoming a star on the world stage.
Mitchell is a unique talent who, like every serious musician, has grown his style over a number of years. On January 31, 2012 he uploaded a video to YouTube of himself playing at The Denmark Arts Markets. Once uploaded, the video went viral and has been viewed over 13 million times to this date.
He plays a 12 string guitar and the didgeridoo. Watching the speed of his fingers in the video, you can see why he’s called ‘Fingers’ Mitchell Cullen. He was voted Australia’s “Number One Home Grown Talent” after appearing as a guest performer on Australia’s Got Talent in 2012.
The video above is old, but I’m sure you’ll agree, it’s absolute gold! In more recent videos of Mitchell, you can see how he has grown, not just in appearance, but as an artist. In his new videos, you can see him playing the didgeridoo, the guitar, a kick drum, and a bunch of samples, all at the same time.
His high energy performances are gaining attention from around the world, clocking up millions of views across social media. Writing his own music and utilising technology, he keeps dancers entertained and watchers mesmerised!
