Brendan Kavanagh had everyone’s toes tapping with his signature boogie woogie, rock n’ roll style.
Passers by in Cork Airport were treated to an impromptu performance when Brendan Kavanagh ( aka Dr K Boogie Woogie) sat down to play.
The Cork Airport piano has had many skilled pianists stop to try a tune to pass the time and Brendan Kavanagh certainly gave a performance to remember.
Londoner Brendan Kavanagh, has a PhD in English Language and Literature from University College Cork and has played with numerous well known bands over the years including Dexy’s Midnight Runners, the Jools Holland Big Band and The Pet Shop Boys.
