Britain’s Got Talent often seeks to find the hidden talents of people who might not normally take to the stage.
And in the case of Sian Pattison, it required for her 10-year-old daughter to fill out the application form for her before she dared to perform in front of the judges on the popular ITV show.
The mother-of-three moved both the judges and viewers at home with her emotional performance of With You on Saturday night, following a nervous false-start.

Simon added: ‘Why I really liked that second song was because you weren’t prepared for it.
‘I really felt we were listening to who you really were. I thought it was great.’

The accounts manager, from Warwickshire, had explained at the start of the audition how it was her daughter’s idea for her to enter the programme, after Simon asked why she’d waited until now to audition.
She explained that the idea of auditioning ‘scares me a bit’, before adding ‘My daughter applied on my behalf’.
Her 10-year-old rushed onto the stage to giver her mum a hug following the emotional performance, which saw Sian sailing through to the next round after receiving a Yes from all four judges.
