Certified nurse anesthetists Gary Cozine, Doug Meuwissen, Rich Leyh, and Keith Larson all moonlight as parody singers in their spare time as part of the The Laryngospasms, named after the medical term for the sensation of not being able to speak or breath.
Back in 2008, Cozine uploaded a music video on his YouTube channel for the group’s popular original parody track Waking Up Is Hard To Do.

Your first instinct is naturally to go to a doctor or medical professional who is qualified in the health industry and can help analyze and repair your condition. Although this is true, and medical professionals take their jobs very seriously, even those with important professions are allowed to have a little fun once in a while. A popular video showcases just how funny your nurses can actually be. Although they take their work seriously, in their downtime they have other hobbies they like to show off.
