A young guitarist phenomenon has gained attention online thanks to this video in which she plays a work by famous Spanish composer Francisco Tárrega at the age of 7. Konstantina Andritsou plays with passion and precision as she holds the seemingly oversized guitar in her hands while on stage in Athens. As the young artist calmly played through “Capricho árabe,” she retained all the composure of a professional musician.
Incredibly, Konstantina started playing acoustic guitar just 3 years earlier at the age of 4. This 2014 performance took place at the Athens Concert Hall, as part of a concert called A Song for Manos. Since then, the young guitarist has performed in a series of high-profile events and festivals and in 2019, she gave her first performance at the Razi Conservatory, a music school in Drosia, Greece.
All of this is just the beginning. We wish Elisey and Konstantina the best in their undoubtedly very bright future with excitement and admiration!
