Freddie’s talents earned him the title as one of history’s greatest stars in the rock industry. With a four-octave vocal range, he managed to hit all the notes, stunning his audience and making fans hungry for more. While he was generally known for his skills singing rock and roll, this clip of Freddie’s duet with Caballé prove that his skills weren’t limited to just popular music.
This rare video reveals Freddie showcasing his amazing abilities as he takes off on an opera note singing “How Can I Go On”. Just as the music is rare for the rock singer, his attire is just as unusual. Rather than his normal glam appearance, the video shows Freddie dressed in a suit and tie, with slicked back hair and a clean-shaven face. His appearance shows us that Freddie was a man who could pull off just about any style and still look stunning.
While Freddie’s duet with Montserrat Caballé might be unusual for him, it is easy to recognize his voice as soon as he opens his mouth and begins to let his voice flow.
