Most people cannot get enough of the classic movie known as “Dirty Dancing” from 1987. Everyone loves the ending when Jennifer Gray and Patrick Swayze perform their iconic dance to “The Time Of My Life.” It is a dance that everyone certainly knows and loves.
This final scene became extremely famous when Gray runs up to Swayze from the stage. As she jumps right into his arms, he lifts her up just like she was as light as a feather. Not only was “The Lift” a huge part of the scene, but the whole dance was also impressive.
There were lots of twists and turns the whole time. Plus, the music was happy and had a great beat to it.
So many people have since tried to recreate the iconic scene. Everyone wants to dance like the popular lovebirds. Many couples have even recreated the dance scene during their wedding receptions.
If you search YouTube, you will find dozens of videos of couples attempting to recreate the amazing dance. Some are definitely better than others, that’s for sure, especially when it comes to the lift!
There is a German dance school called Bodscheller that has been making the rounds on social media. The company truly believes that there is power in dancing. They say that it is active entertainment and is just a fun activity for everyone involved.
The company offers many types of dance genres, from ballroom dancing to disco to salsa. They want men and women to come out and try a new hobby in a wonderful atmosphere. They want their students to feel as if they are in a safe, informal place.
However, the company is quick to point out that they have over 30 years of experience in various forms of dancing. They do not want to be known as a place to just hang out, dance a few times, and then take off. They are professionals, after all!
You can see just how professional they really are after the company recorded a very specific dance. We bet you can easily guess which one it is! Even students from Germany know how amazing the Dirty Dancing routine is. A bunch of students decided to learn the specific routine and then perform it for a large crowd.
